Good tutorial. Part 4 is missing one line:
3.1 Move your cursor back onto the word “DropShadowFilter”, press Ctrl-Shift-1.

been using fd for a while. it's a great tool. just needs a mxml layout ui. i see there's one in development on the fd forum. coding mxml by hand is dog work. and fdb is super buggy with the latest versions. but the results are great. i see you've been doing some haxe stuff. i've been looking into it myself. particularly with necko as a standalone app alternative to air. i'm not really in love with the big runtime download on air. and security paranoia. you may have seen hippohx / screenweaver... they've got potential. anyway, i'm really loving the method hints in fd and fdb overlays. saves a lot of time, particularly with classes within classes.

Thanks Sean. I'm using Eclipse with Flex Builder as a plugin now. It's OK, and it's really nice for working on many projects in different languages - I do quite a lot of PHP and JavaScript programming as well. But it's definitely slower, and lacks a lot of awesome FlashDevelop features. On the other hand, I'm much more productive on the MAC in general, so it mostly balances out. And, hopefully Flex Builder will improve over time.

Yeh.. ah, I really do miss FlashDevelop. Flex Builder feels like clunky-junk in comparison, but the whole Eclipse vibe is starting to grow on me.
